A Fundraiser and Firefighter Fitness Competition: A benefit for the West Salem High School Emergency Services Club
WHAT: Seeking sponsors for our Salem Fire Department Fundraiser to benefit West Salem High School Emergency Services Club
WHEN: April 1 – April 30, 2023
DETAILS:
The Salem Fire Department (SFD) and the Salem Fire Foundation have a goal of raising $10,000 for the West Salem program that prepares students to pursue emergency service career. Fourteen teams of SFD personnel will track their physical activity in April. Each minute of activity gains point. The team with the most points at the end of April wins the “Battle for The Belt” competition and has the distinct honor of displaying the belt at their station.
YOUR SPONSORSHIP WILL:
- Create awareness of the increased risk of physical injury, cardiovascular disease, and cancer that firefighters face throughout their career.
- Support our local community and future firefighter/EMS personnel.
- Support West Salem High School Emergency Services Club as students compete locally, regionally, and nationally.
HOW TO SUPPORT US: Sponsorships available at all levels. Sponsors at $500 and above (paid before March 31) can have their business logo placed on the back of this years’ “Battle for The Belt” apparel and other promotional materials.
