A Winning Day at the Salem Fire Foundation Golf Tournament

The Salem Fire Foundation’s annual golf tournament brought together 40 teams on September 6 at Creekside Golf Course for a day of competition, camaraderie, and community support.

Anthem Wealth Strategies won the tournament in a score card play-off with Charter Properties at -22 total gross 49. Nick Frith won men’s long drive, Melissa Mauer won women’s long drive and Darrell Fuller won KP. See the results here

One of the most exciting highlights came on hole 6, where golfer Matt Brown scored a hole-in-one—a rare and thrilling achievement! His perfect shot earned him a brand-new golf club, generously provided by Freeman Motors. (Pictured below: Marshall Zoerner, Kara Copeland, Matt Brown and Bonique Hollinrake).

Beyond the big win, the tournament was a celebration of teamwork and generosity. With every swing, players helped raise funds to support the Foundation’s vital programs, including CPR training and equipping our community’s verified responders.
