The Salem Fire Foundation (SFF) has purchased Automatic External Defibrillators (AED’s) to offer to the community at a reduced price. Sixty four (64) AED’s have already been placed in City of Salem Police Vehicles and fifteen (15) were purchased and placed into City of Keizer Vehicles. There are additional units available for purchase. We appreciate individuals and companies who place these AED’s into Publicly Accessible area, so that PulsePoint can list that location for responders.
The form on this page will allow you to apply to purchase an AED for you or your business. When purchasing, you agree to train up to 20% of your staff how to use the AED, perform regular maintenance checks on the AED, register the AED with PulsePoint, and replace batteries (and pads) as needed at your expense.
Purchasing an AED through the SFF is a great choice because we can purchase in bulk, one-third of your $900.00 purchase price is considered a charitable donation to the SFF. This will allow us to continue our important work in the community.
