Chemeketa’s Jordan Bermingham Elected to Board of Directors
The Salem Fire Foundation (SFF) is excited to announce the election of Jordan Bermingham, Dean of Emergency Services & Diesel Technology at Chemeketa Community College, to its Board of Directors. Jordan’s extensive experience in public safety education and his leadership in higher education make him a great asset to the board.
Jordan is particularly interested in serving on the SFF Board because of the longstanding partnership between the Brooks Regional Training Center (RTC) and Salem Fire. He is eager to develop this collaboration further to benefit both organizations and the community.
With a background in various leadership roles, including his current position as Dean at Chemeketa, Jordan brings a wealth of experience. He previously served as the Executive Director of Corrections Education for Chemeketa, where he managed the college’s contract with the Oregon Department of Corrections. Before that, he was the Director of Institutional Research and Planning at a college in Portland. This experience in public safety will be valuable in his work with SFF.
Jordan believes that the Salem Fire Foundation’s mission aligns closely with the work at the Brooks RTC, and he is committed to helping further SFF’s goals. The Foundation’s efforts to support fire services and community education resonate deeply with him, and he is excited to contribute to the organization.
Please join us in welcoming Jordan Bermingham to the Board. His leadership and dedication to public safety education will help advance the Foundation’s mission and strengthen its impact on the community.
