Jessica Buchholz Joins the Salem Fire Foundation Advisory Board
The Salem Fire Foundation (SFF) is excited to welcome Jessica Buchholz to its Advisory Board of Directors. With over two decades of experience in emergency response, Jessica has dedicated her career to serving the Salem community and ensuring public safety. As a 911 Call Taker for the City of Salem since 2016, she plays a vital role as the first point of contact during emergencies, providing critical assistance and coordinating life-saving responses.
Jessica’s deep understanding of emergency services comes from her extensive background in EMS. Before becoming a 911 Call Taker, she worked as an EMT for nearly 15 years, including roles at Rural/Metro Corporation, City of Dallas EMS, and Pacific West Ambulance. She also has experience in billing quality assurance and verification, giving her a well-rounded perspective on emergency medical services.
Her firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by both dispatchers and first responders makes her an invaluable addition to SFF. Jessica is brought on because of her passion for strengthening public safety initiatives, expanding community outreach, and supporting the well-being of Salem’s firefighters and EMS personnel.
We look forward to her contributions to the Foundation’s mission and making a positive impact in the Salem Fire Foundation Advisory Board. Please join us in welcoming Jessica Buchholz to the SFF family!
