Salem Fire Foundation Granted $5k from Wells Fargo

The Salem Fire Foundation has received a $5,000 grant from Wells Fargo for its CPR/AED Training Program for 8th Graders.

Executive Director, Mary Louise VanNatta said, “We are absolutely thrilled about the grant.  It will go a long way in helping us fund the 8th grade training program next year.”

Last year the Foundation and the Salem Fire Department trained 2,626 Salem-Keizer students who then went home and trained an additional 2,187 other household members.

VanNatta said the Foundation works to raise the $43,000 each year to fund the program.
