Monica Pacheco Selected to Serve on City of Salem Revenue Task Force
Monica Pacheco has been appointed to serve on the City of Salem Revenue Task Force. She was identified for this role because of her expertise in safety issues and involvement with the Salem Fire Foundation (SFF).
Pacheco said, “I truly am honored and blessed to be serving my community and the SFF in this capacity. It was an honor to be recommended by Chief Niblock, and an equal honor to be appointed by Mayor Bennett. I spend much of my life advocating and working for families that need assistance with care and protecting disabled families and individuals that it is a nice ‘change’ to be working on something prospective for the community, as opposed to reactive to emergencies.”
Pacheco is an elder law and estate planning attorney with Douglas, Conroyd, Gibb and Pacheco, PC. She leads the SFF’s “Wills for Heroes” program which provides wills for Salem firefighters.
