About #OregoniansGive
Built on the momentum of the national #GivingTuesday campaign, #OregoniansGive is about connecting nonprofits with supporters from every corner of our state and celebrating all contributions from every resident — from born and bred natives to recent transplants — that make the state of Oregon what it is today and open the door for a brighter future. The #OregoniansGive movement is a platform for nonprofits across our state to connect with supporters. 100% of donations received go directly to participating organizations. In 2015, #OregoniansGive helped raise more than $1.8 million for more than 700 nonprofits, representing nearly every county in Oregon. For the 2016 campaign, #OregoniansGive plans to reach $3.5 million in donations and engage more than 1,000 nonprofits representing all 36 Oregon counties in a 24-hour time period. #OregoniansGive lets us take a day to celebrate generosity. We have the chance to focus on the amazing work taking place in nonprofits and charities across the state — from Pendleton to Grants Pass, Portland to Klamath Falls — and give back.
