The Salem Fire Department and the Salem Fire Foundation were honored at the Salem/Keizer School District with the Spotlight on Success Award at its December 12, 2023 school board meeting.

Stephens Middle School Health teacher, Megan Conser, shared her deep gratitude for the Department and the Foundation for its work training 8th grade students in CPR and AED use.

Salem Fire Chief Mike Niblock, President Bonique Hollinrake and Executive Director Mary Louise VanNatta attended and accepted the recognition on behalf of their organizations.
